Twenty years ago, Ruzha was found at the forest’s edge with no memory of her past. Now an adult, she still doesn’t know where she comes from, and she’s surrounded by monsters inside the village and out. Every full moon, Ruzha raises her sword and battles the beasts of the Bloodwood just to survive another day. When Boyka, a little girl from the village, goes missing, Ruzha must face her paralyzing fear of the Bloodwood—and her past—if she wants any chance of finding the girl. Ivaylo, the village blacksmith, is determined to help. But neither of them is prepared for the horrors and dark truths that await them in the forest.
